Standards Framework
Dhaki stands apart by delivering consistent, premium, and intelligent results across every project.
Our Standards
Our standards ensure that every solution feels effortless, reliable, and truly luxurious.
1. Home Approval Factor (HAF)⚓︎
Every solution must be validated with all household members.
If the home does not approve, the project is not complete.
- Automations must be simple, intuitive, and family-friendly.
- Complex logic must stay hidden; the user only sees ease.
- We measure success not by technicality, but by how much the home enjoys it.
2. Smart Devices Naming Convention⚓︎
Every device must be named consistently for clarity and troubleshooting.
- Format:
[Room/Area] [Location in the Room/Area] [Device Type/Function] [Number/Description] - Example:
Living Room - Ceiling - Light - Avoid generic names like “Lamp1” or “Switch2”.
- Consistency ensures easy scaling, servicing, and future upgrades.
3. Scene Architecture⚓︎
Every project must include:
- Everyday Scenes → Morning, Night, Away, Welcome.
- Comfort Scenes → Relax, Dining, Movie, Work.
- Luxury Scenes → Wow factor scenes (Spa, Party, Ambience).
- Fallback Scenes → Manual overrides, essential lighting, emergency mode.
This guarantees both daily practicality and luxury experiences.
4. Automation Triggers⚓︎
Automations must prioritize intelligence over control.
- Primary Triggers: context-based (presence, time, light, climate, usage).
- Secondary Triggers: manual inputs (switches, app, voice).
- Failsafe: always include manual override.
Rule: Dhaki homes think first, listen second, but never trap the user.
5. User Experience⚓︎
Dhaki defines UX not in screens, but in life moments.
- 2-Click Rule → No action should take more than two interactions.
- Invisible First → Automations should run in the background.
- Luxury Finish → Devices must look integrated, not “added on.”
6. Energy & Efficiency⚓︎
Luxury and responsibility go hand in hand.
- Automations must optimize energy without sacrificing comfort.
- Idle devices and standby loads must be minimized.
- Away/eco scenes are part of every project.
7. Documentation⚓︎
Every project must have clear, updated documentation:
- Naming convention applied
- Room-by-room device map
- Scene overview
- Change log maintained
- HAF checklist completed
Documentation is as important as installation.
8. Aftercare & Support⚓︎
Dhaki is a relationship, not a transaction.
- Proactive check-ins at 30 days, 6 months, 12 months.
- SLA-based response times for premium clients.
- Remote monitoring when included in scope.
9. Design & Installation Aesthetics⚓︎
Premium automation deserves premium presentation.
- No exposed wires, tape, or misaligned devices.
- Panels must be clean, labeled, and photographed.
- Device placement must balance function and aesthetics.
In Essence⚓︎
The Dhaki Standards Framework ensures that every project delivers:
- Effortless experiences (HAF, UX, triggers)
- Scalable reliability (naming, documentation, aftercare)
- Luxury finish (design aesthetics, energy harmony, scene architecture)
These standards are non-negotiable — they are what make a solution Dhaki-certified.
